We are asked all the time, what is hardscaping? Hardscaping is the placement of non-plant elements consisting of structures, such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, steps, fire pits, and outdoor kitchens. Made with hard materials hardscapes can be built out of block, pavers, brick, & stone.
We can design and install unique hardscape features that will enhance your property’s value and take your breath away every time you step outside. There are endless styles, colors, textures, bricks, and retaining wall stone for every project.
At Ryan’s Landscaping we know choosing a hardscape contractor right the first time is important. Our hardscapes offer both functions, beauty, and are built to last. We have been providing York & Adams County area families with quality and well-built hardscapes for over 10 years. We’ve used Ryan for a variety of services over the past 4 years, including landscaping several mulch beds and around our pool, planting trees, and paver work on our front porch and walkway, patio, curved knee wall, and pool area. Plus he has provided lawn care for us such as aerating, over seeding and fertilizing. I can always depend on him and his employees to give me a quality job with a smile. He is meticulous, hard-working, and fair. Whenever we have an outdoor project, he’s the first guy we think of. I’ll keep using Ryan’s Landscaping until I run out of landscape projects!

My wife and I moved into a newly build home in November of 2011. Lawn was seeded, but needed additional landscaping. We were able to locate Ryan and have him provide us with outstanding service then, and now when we need additional work done on the property. Ryan put steps into the back yard so that my wife was able to walk up a hill to her garden. He has maintained our plant and flower beds since 2011 and we are looking forward to his continued present here around our home.
