“Our first exposure to Ryan’s Landscaping was on a small landscaping project. We were so pleased with his work, promptness, and professionalism that we have worked with him on several additional projects. This included an outdoor kitchen that is the envy of all my friends and neighbors. Ryan has a great vision and a get it done attitude for all the projects he has helped us design. I will be working with him on future projects and would recommend his work to anyone.”

The base and sub base are composed of different sized layers of aggregate that filter and direct storm water to the soil below or exit through pipes. Permeable pavers are used as a way to control storm water run off. Any rain that falls on the permeable paver patio or driveway collects between the pavers and, depending on the soil type, the water infiltrates back into the ground and/or slowly releases to the nearest storm sewer or waterway. In addition to storm water management benefits, permeable pavers can alleviate negativity associated with drought conditions to benefit homeowners and the community at large.
Permeable pavers can also help with existing drainage issues. The surface of the pavers can be made perfectly flat, with the stone reservoir being contoured to direct the water to where it needs to go. By adding a few design features, the system can be used for water harvesting, with the water being usable for irrigation or washing your car.
